How can I receive information about opportunities for specific teams?
We post sign-up forms (through SignupGenius and/or TeamSideline) on Facebook twice a year. Once for the Fall/Winter Sports and
once for the Spring Sports. Signing up on these forms simply expresses your interest in playing sports. Your
signup doesn’t bind you to a team or guarantee a spot on a team when tryouts take place. Some sports
organize off-season workouts, so we encourage you to sign up for sports you’re interested in as early as
possible. Don’t wait until right before the season starts or you might miss some off-season events.
How are schedules and other information shared throughout the season?
We use the TeamSideline platform for registration, scheduling, and communicating information. “There’s an app
for that”
Are your sports competitive or recreational?
Our sports are organized High School and Middle School teams, not recreational teams. Therefore, the goal is
for our teams to be competitive. This means commitment will be required and the privilege to participate in
games and events must be earned.
What are the practice and game commitments like during the season?
This varies some from sport-to-sport. Generally, it’s a 3-5 events per week commitment once the season is in
full-swing. This includes practices and games. Some teams are mostly local, while others travel regularly to the
Raleigh area. Some teams play mostly during the week, while others play regularly on Saturdays also.
Where do your teams practice and/or play home games/matches?
You can visit our LOCATIONS page. Keep in mind these are subject to change, as we rely on county and privately owned facilities to allow us to lease field/gym/court times from them.
Do you have a governing board or Athletic Director?
Yes, we have a Board of Directors. We also have an Athletic Director and Assistant AD/Scheduler. These are
all volunteer positions.
Are there volunteer opportunities for me at sporting events?
Yes, there will be volunteer opportunities to be a scorekeeper, scoreboard operator, statistician, line judge,
libero tracker, videographer, photographer, etc. If you are willing and able to perform any of these tasks, please
communicate that to the AD and/or Coach.
We also welcome families to organize and/or provide pre or post game meals/snacks/drinks.
